getting our child to eat more

Rachel is awesome! She's so easy to talk to, caring and was respectful of our family's dietary choices and preferences.

She had great ideas on how to get our child to eat more and it's working!

registered dietitian and pediatric feeding expert

Hi! I’m Rachel.

I am a registered dietitian and pediatric feeding expert. Working with children and families is my passion.  I’ve worked in classroom, clinical, and academic environments, including developing nutrition education curricula for children, inpatient and outpatient practice in a pediatric hospital, and teaching nutrition at a local college. Over the past several years, I have been fortunate enough to combine my past education and experience into my own methodology to help families on their nutrition journey.

Now that I have two young daughters, food is of paramount importance.  I am here to help you foster a healthy relationship with food for your children and family.  As parents and caregivers, we have the power to help our kids trust their bodies and the foods they are eating.  Let’s work on that together.

WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR?

The Peaceful Mealtimes Coaching Group is for you if you…

  • Are ready to feel less stressed at mealtimes

  • Want to stop thinking about feeding all the time, and be able to enjoy family mealtimes

  • Are ready for a new approach to feeding

  • Don’t want to be bribing, forcing or creating power struggles at the table

I couldn’t be happier

Rachel is a kind, thorough, and very knowledgeable dietitian who truly helped us come up with a plan that fit our needs. Our picky 4 (now 5) year old son was starting to develop an unhealthy relationship with food - he saw it as something that got in his way when he just wanted to play. He didn’t want to sit and eat, and that caused many arguments and tantrums surrounding mealtimes.

After Rachel listened to our concerns and hopes for our son, she gave us a solid place to start, and it worked. Initially we were hesitant to seek out help, as we thought it should be something we could handle, but I couldn’t be happier that we sought out Rachel.

She genuinely cares about her clients, and it showed during our time spent with her. If you’re in need of some guidance, don’t hesitate; you won’t regret it!

more fun and less stress

We started the peaceful mealtimes group course with Rachel when our daughter was 2 years old. We loved the information she provided to the group and was also impressed how she tailored strategies to fit each family’s needs.

The course gave us valuable insight and ideas on how to approach mealtimes with our daughter. It helped us reshape our thinking which has led to more fun, more experimentation and overall less stress when it comes to mealtime.
