Amaranth balls

I made these spur of the moment, I wanted a way to add a bit of peanut butter and also allow baby to feed herself, as the porridge was  bit messy.  My little lady has no desire to be spoonfed.



  • 1/3 cup cooked amaranth

  • 1/3 cup quick cook oats, prepared according to package directions

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter

  • Optional mix-ins: chia seed, flax seed


  1. Combine above and mix well

  2. Take about 1 tbsp and roll into a ball.

  3. Place in front of baby for her/ his enjoyment!
